Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Opdeck (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Opdeck is a field service management platform providing customer management, customizable job card templates, job scheduling, asset tracking, and reporting tools.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free Trial & Subscription Plans

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to the Service. No payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will need to select a paid subscription plan to continue using Opdeck. We do not automatically charge you when a trial ends — subscribing requires you to actively complete checkout with our payment processor, PayFast.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices for current plans are published on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period unless required by law.

6. Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the customer data, job records, photos, and other content you enter into Opdeck. We do not claim ownership over your business data and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time; upon closure, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opdeck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
